Shane Jason McLean, a distinguished lawyer with a remarkable legal career, was born in San Diego, CA. In the late 80s and early 90s, he attended middle school and high school in Waco, TX, where he laid the foundation for his future achievements.
Eager to pursue his passion for law and equipped with a strong educational background, Shane embarked on his academic journey at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. In 1993, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, honing his analytical and problem-solving skills.
Continuing his quest for excellence in the legal profession, Shane enrolled at the University of Houston Law Center, obtaining his law degree in 1996. Upon receiving his bar certification, he launched his career in family law, dedicating himself to guiding families through the complexities of divorce, child custody, and support matters.
During the early stages of his career, Shane had the privilege of working under the mentorship of the late Grady W. James Jr., an esteemed figure in the Montgomery county family law community. This invaluable experience not only shaped his legal acumen but also deepened his commitment to advocating for the well-being of families during challenging times.
Later, Shane forged a powerful partnership with the late Kent Shriver, and together, they established a thriving family law practice, Shriver & McLean L.L.P. For the better part of 20 years, they diligently served their clients, providing compassionate support and unwavering representation.
After the untimely passing of Kent Shriver, his esteemed law partner, Shane faced a profound moment of reflection. While deeply saddened by the loss, Shane was determined to honor their shared legacy and the commitment they made to their clients. Recognizing the profound impact they had on countless families during their years of practice, Shane resolved to continue their noble mission in the field of family law. Driven by a strong sense of purpose and armed with a wealth of experience, Shane J. McLean decided to carry forward the torch of their former law practice, now known as McLean & Associates L.L.C.
